The cultural centers at Yale University each seek a student-centered, highly motivated and equity-minded professional to assist in the implementation of programs and services that support underrepresented student success and facilitate intercultural engagement throughout the campus community. The Assistant Director will help develop and execute the center’s strategic planning, design and implement program evaluation and reporting and will provide general management and supervision at the center to ensure the center’s smooth daily operations. The Assistant Director will also collaborate with campus and community partners to support the missions of the center, the Yale College Deans Office and Yale University.

This position requires energy, strong organizational and leadership skills, experience in creating and implementation of culturally-affirming programming and intercultural education for the university community. The position also requires effective communication skills to form critical collaborations across divisions and with faculty, staff and community partners to manage and advocate for students’ needs and concerns.
