Andrew Miles began his career in the yacht sales industry in 1992 from South Carolina and transitioned to full-time yacht broker in 1996 after relocating to Palm Beach, FL. Since then, he has built a successful career, specializing in luxury yachts over 100 feet. In January 2020, Andrew founded Miles Yacht Group, which operates from its office in the Jupiter Yacht Club, Jupiter, FL.
Before establishing his own brokerage, Andrew spent over half of his career working as a subcontractor for Westport Shipyard and Westport LLC, North America’s most successful superyacht builder. His work involved handling large-scale sales for the renowned yacht builder, which provided him with in-depth knowledge of the luxury yacht market and expanded his network of top-tier industry professionals.
Andrew has developed strong relationships with hundreds of repeat and referred clients, respected yacht brokers, dealers, and builders worldwide. Over the past two decades, he has focused on the 100'+ yacht market, earning a reputation for integrity, reliability, and exceptional service. His role has expanded to include consulting on new construction projects, yacht refits, marketing strategies, and managing the complex process of bringing both new and brokerage yachts to market.
In addition to his business leadership, Andrew serves on the Board of Directors of the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) since 2016, the largest professional yacht brokerage advocacy association in the world. He is also on the Certification Advisory Board of the National Certified Professional Yacht Broker’s Association, which upholds the highest standards of yacht broker certification in the industry. Andrew also serves as consultant and expert witness for various marine industry legal cases, lending advise industry professional opinion on yacht transaction practices.
